The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Basic White card stock. I cut a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Boho Blue card stock and textured it using the "Painted Texture" embossing folder. I glued it to the card base.
Then I took a piece of Designer Series Paper (DSP) from the "Fresh as a Daisy" 12" x 12" package. I cut it to measure 3-1/2" x 2-3/4" and I cut a Basic White layer for it that measured 3-3/4" x 3". I taped the two layers together and set them aside.
Next I cut the side strip of DSP from the upper part of the piece I cut with the flowers on it. It measured 1-3/4" x 3-1/2" and the Basic White layer behind it measures 2" x 3-3/4". I taped the two layers together. I glued this layer to the left side of the card about 1/8" from the top, side, and bottom edges.
Before adding Dimensionals to the daisy layer piece I wrapped some linen thread around it a couple of times and tied a bow. I set it in place on the top of the card base.
The words are from the "Go To Greetings" set and were stamped using Copper Clay ink. I die cut them using the die from the "Stylish Shapes" set. I set it in place across the linen thread using Dimensionals and the card was done.
This was a very quick and easy card to make. It can be used for a number of occasions too!
BEAUTIFUL layout Wanda!
