The base of the card is a folded half-sheet of Basic White card stock. This card opens on the bottom and the fold is on the top.
I cut a 5-1/4" x 2-1/4" piece of Old Olive card stock for the layer and a 5" x 2" piece of Designer Series Paper (DSP) from the "Delightful Eclectic" 12" x 12" package and I taped it to the Old Olive piece. Then I taped that piece to the front of the card about 1/4" from the bottom, side, and top edges.
I stamped the large flower using Fresh Freesia ink and the smaller flowers using Bubble Gum ink. I stamped the center of the large flower using Cherry Cobbler ink and Cajun Craze on the smaller one. I like the Cajun Craze color better. I die cut these pieces out.
The leaves were stamped using Old Olive ink and die cut. I cut a leaf off one side and used it on top under the upper flower.
The words are from the "Darling Details" using Cajun Craze ink on a scrap piece of Basic White card stock. I punched it out using the "Double Oval" punch and using the same punch I punched out the scalloped Old Olive oval. I taped the two ovals together.
I set the leaves on top of the card front and then the larger flower on top. Once I thought it looked good I taped them in place. Then I added tape to the back of one of the small flowers and tucked it under the large flower a bit. And then the other smaller flower was added above that one. I taped the leaf I cut off under the upper flower.
I colored the flowers using my Wink of Stella pen thinking it would help make it look better. It didn't.
Then I added Dimensionals to the back of the oval piece and set that in place. Once I saw that popped up I thought the larger flower would look better popped up. SO I just may stamp another one and pop it up and hope it looks better.
Thank you for hanging in there with this card that just didn't turn out the way I had hoped it would,
Wanda
