The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Basic Black card stock. I cut a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Basic White card stock for the inside.
Next I cut a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Designer Series Paper (DSP) from the "Stargazing" 12" x 12" package. I tried to cut from an area on the sheet that had the darkest image. I wanted my background to be pretty dark. I taped this piece to the front of the card base.
I took a 3-3/4" x 5" piece of Basic White card stock and die cut the largest stitched circle from the "Stylish Shapes" set. I made sure it was cut on the upper part of the card. I didn't have a current large oval like the original card used so I had to go with the circle and in going with the circle I knew I wouldn't have room for the words in the opening so moving the circle up made room for the words at the bottom.
After cutting the circle, I stamped the words from the "Textured Floral" set using black Memento ink.
The branch is from the "Textured Floral" set and was die cut using a scrap piece of Basic White card stock.
The little flowers are from the "Around the Bend" set and were cut from a scrap piece of Flirty Flamingo. I cut some small pieces of Daffodil Delight card stock and glued them to the backs of the flowers. Then the flowers were set in place with a small dot of glue.
Next the stem was glued to the circle and a Dimensional was put on top of that. Dimensionals were added all around the back piece and where each little flower is. I turned the piece over and set it in place on top of the DSP.
Wink of Stella was added to the flowers and the card was done.
I REALLY like how this card turned out.
Thank you SO very much for taking your time to stop in and see today's card,
Wanda
