Ok, so onto today's card. I used the "Petal Park" set to make it. I haven't played with that set much and good news, it's in the new catalog! YAY! Many of the stamps I ordered from the spring mini were in the new catalog. Boy did I choose right this time! Ya gotta love that.
The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Basic White card stock. I cut a 4-1/8" x 5-3/8" piece of Highland Heather card stock for the layer.
Then I cut a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Basic White for the front piece. I stamped the leaves outline image from the "Petal Park" set using Garden Green card stock. And then I stamped Granny Apple Green on the solid leaves image.
The flowers were stamped on a separate piece of Basic White card stock using Gorgeous Grape ink for the outline part and Highland Heather ink for the solid part. I stamped two sets of flowers so I could have light and dark flowers. So in doing that I decided I would make two cards at the same time (just more delays so I can't get to my new stuff yet!!! LOL). Once the flowers were stamped I punched them out with the matching punch.
Next I stamped the words from the "Dainty Delight" set using Gorgeous Grape ink. I also stamped some dots using the stamp from the "Petal Park" set and Gorgeous Grape ink. I stamped three times before I re-inked. I just thought the top of the card needed something more.
The flowers were set in place using Dimensionals and crystal rhinestones were added to the centers and the card was done.
This layout can be used for a number of other occasions, it's very versatile!
This was a very quick and easy card to make and making two of them went pretty fast too. Now to sign off for today and open my box of new stuff!
Beautiful card. I love the placements of the flowers and leaves and the colors.

Gorgeous card! I'll be saving a copy of that for inspiration. When a new order arrives, it is so fun opening the box.
