Lasting Joy, Fresh as a Daisy, Color & Contour, Birthday Card, Stampin' Up!

Hello! I'm glad you stopped in so I can share with you the fun card I made today. I think I'm liking it so much because of the soft pretty colors.  Please read on to see how the card was made.

The  base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Basic White card stock. The card opens on the right and the  fold is on the left.

I cut a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Bubble Bath card stock and textured it using the "Painted Texture" embossing folder. I set the piece aside.

Next I die cut the scalloped rectangle using the die from the "Color & Contour" bundle and a piece of Basic White card stock.

The Designer Series Paper (DSP) is from the "Fresh as a Daisy" 12" x 12" package. I cut it at 2-5/8" x 3-7/8" and I taped it to the center of the scalloped rectangle piece. Then I glued that to the textured Bubble Bath piece.

Dimensionals were added to the back of the Bubble Bath piece and that was set in place on the front of the card base.

The words are from the "Lasting Joy" set and were stamped on a scrap piece of Basic White card stock using Garden Green ink. I punched it out using the "Double Oval" punch. I also used the same punch for the scalloped Bubble Bath oval piece. I taped the two ovals together and set them in place on the front of the card and the card was done.

This was a fun and quick card to make and I just LOVE the looks of it. What's fun here is you get two sheets of the DSP with other flowers on it too so you can make two of each design.  I will be making cards using the other images at a later date. I have a list of what I'd like to make. It is on the list but not in the next few days!  But if I'm in a hurry I may bump it up a day or two!

Thank you SO very much for taking your time to stop in and see today's birthday card,
Wanda

I've used all of one of the pieces from the sheet with those pretty daisies. I think I'm going to have to CASE your card with the second sheet. So pretty!
