The base of the card is a folded half-sheet of Basic White card stock. This card opens on the right and the fold is on the left.
I cut a 1-1/2" x 4-3/4" piece of Designer Series Paper (DSP) from the "Delightful Eclectic" package. I taped that to a 1-5/8" x 4-7/8" piece of Night of Navy card stock. I taped the two pieces together and then taped that to the left side of the card front.
Next I cut a 2-3/4" x 3-7/8" piece of Bubble Bath card stock and stamped the music on it from the "Enjoy the Rhythm" set using Bubble Bath ink. I taped that to a 2-7/8" x 4" piece of Night of Navy card stock and that was set in place on the front of the card using Dimensionals.
The bear is from the "Zoo Crew" DSP package, was fussy cut and Dimensionals were added to the back. I set it in place on top of the Bubble Bath card stock piece.
The words are from the "Darling Details" set and were stamped using Night of Navy ink on a scrap piece of Whisper White card stock. I punched them out using the "Double Oval" punch. Then I punched out the scalloped oval from the same punch on a scrap piece of Night of Navy card stock. I taped the two ovals together and then set the piece in place using a Dimensional on the top and one on the right. A bit of glue was added to the left side and the piece was set in place on the upper part of the card. And the card was done.
I think it's cute. I like that bear! It was a fun card to make and the fussy cutting was pretty simple. This card is great for adults and kids alike.
Thank you SO very much for taking your time to stop by and see today's birthday card,
Wanda
