The base of the card is a folded half-sheet of Blushing Bride (now retired) card stock. This card opens on the bottom and the fold is on the top.
I cut a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Starry Sky card stock. On top of that is the DSP from the "Dainty Flowers" (retired) 12" x 12" package. There is a sheet of 6 of these floral ovals so you can whip up 6 cards in no time at all. I may take the remaining 5 and make some more cards for other occasions. I'd love to use up the DSP. That piece of DSP was cut at 5" x 3-3/4", I didn't want to forget to add that.
The words are from the "Dainty Delight" set and were stamped using Starry Sky ink. I taped the DSP to the Starry Sky card stock. Dimensionals were added to the back and the piece was set in place on top of the Blushing Bride card stock.
A rhinestone was added to the DSP, a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Basic White card stock was added to the inside and the card was done.
Wasn't that quick? I think it took me longer to type this up than it did to make it!
Thank you SO very much for taking your time to stop in and see today's thank you card,
Wanda
Beautiful card. I so love flowers and this is a ring of love.
ReplyDeleteLOVE when the SU designer series paper does most of the work for me.
ReplyDeleteI tend to not want to cut my DSP up......This packet is perfect for cutting up.
Your card is BEAUTIFUL.
So wonderful if the dsp you use does all the work for when you are making a card. Very pretty!
