Go To Greetings, Dainty Flowers, Thank You Card, Stampin' Up!

Hello! Today I have a fun, quick and easy card to share with you. What I liked about this card when I first saw it was how versatile this card is. It can be used for a number of occasions. Today it's a thank you card. Please read on to see how I made it. You can see the original card here.

The base the card is a folded half-sheet of Basic White card stock. It opens on the bottom and the fold is on the top.

For my card I cut a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Basic White that I used as a base for the Designer Series Paper (DPS) and the textured piece. I cut the DSP from the "Dainty Flowers" 12" x 12" package to measure It measured 4" x 2-5/8". I taped it to the left side of the Basic White piece. Then I took a 4" x 2-5/8" piece of Basic White and textured it using the "Painted Texture" embossing folder. I glued this piece to the right side of the Basic White piece.  I took some white ribbon and wrapped it around where the DSP and the textured card stock meet. Then I taped the piece to the front of the card base.

Then using the stitched rectangle die from the "Rectangle Stitched Framelits" package, I die cut another piece of DSP from the same package. I had used the third smallest in the larger set of rectangles in the package. I taped this piece to a die cut scalloped rectangle that I cut from the "Scalloped Contours" die set using Basic White card stock. Dimensionals were added to the back and the piece was set aside. 

I die cut a butterfly from the "Butterfly Brilliance" bundle using Basic White card stock.

The words are from the "Go To Greetings" set and were stamped using Mossy Meadow ink.

To assemble the rest of the card, I centered the scalloped rectangle on the front of the card and set in place with the Dimensionals I had added to the back.

I added one small Dimensional to the butterfly and set it in place on the upper left of the scalloped rectangle piece. 

The word were punched out using the "Dual Oval" punch and was taped in place on the lower right of the scalloped rectangle. And the card was done. The original card added a bow but I decided to omit it. I liked the card just the way it was.

Isn't it pretty? Can you see all of the other occasions you could use this for? And all of the other DSP that would work with this too? Get busy!! Go cut some card stock and DSP!!! LOL
