The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Basic White card stock. This card opens on the bottom and the fold is on the top.
I cut a 2" x 5-1/4" piece of Fresh Freesia card stock for the layer. I textured it using the "Pretty Flowers" embossing folder and then I glued it in place. I prefer glue because tape doesn't seem to get on enough flat surfaces to hold nicely.
Then I cut a piece of Designer Series Paper (DSP) from the "Hues of Happiness" 12" x 12" package and I taped it to a 3-1/4" x 3-1/4" piece of Fresh Freesia card stock. Then the piece was glued to the front of the card. The piece was set in place about 1/2" from the left edge of the card and 1/2" from the bottom edge card. Before I taped the DSP to the card stock I did cut the scalloped circle to save on card stock, only because I didn't have a scrap piece large enough.
The words are from the "Eden's Garden" set and were stamped using black Memento ink. I die cut them using the 1-5/8" circle from the "Layering Circles" die set and the Fresh Freesia layer behind it is from the same die set. I taped the circles together and then I set them in place using Dimensionals. And the card was done.
I told you it was quick and easy! Now go make one and use up some of those smaller pieces of DSP and card stock!
