The base of the card is a folded half-sheet of Soft Succulent card stock. This card opens on the right and the fold is on the left.
I cut a 2" x 5" piece of Designer Series Paper (DSP) from the "Fitting Florets" 12" x 12" package. I taped it to the front of the card base on the left.
Then I die cut a Basic White oval using the die from the "Framed Florets" die set.
And I die cut the flowers from the "Fitting Florets" DSP. There's a die that matched the flowers.
The words are from the "Framed & Festive" set and were stamped using Evening Evergreen ink on a piece of Basic White card stock. I took my Blending Brush and scrubbed on some Evening Evergreen to tone it down a bit. It was just too bright and it took away from the frame it came out of.
Now to assemble the card.
The ring of the die cut oval has Dimensionals added to the back of it. I set it in place on the lower right side of the card. Then I taped the word piece inside.
The flowers were set in place using Dimensionals on the outer side and a bit of glue on the oval frame.
I used a "Gold Swirls" embellishment on the bottom of the word piece and I added a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Basic White card stock on the inside and the card was done.
This card was fun and easy to make. I like the colors and I'm ready if I need to send it out. Or I have a start on next years cards!!! LOL
Thank you SO very much for taking your time to stop in and see today's Christmas card,
Wanda
