So let's talk about how I made this simple card. The base of the card is a folded half-sheet of Poppy Parade card stock. This card opens on the right and the fold is on the left.
I cut four 1" strips of DSP that measure 2" long. My DSP is from the "Celebrate Everything" package.
A 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Basic White card stock was cut for the top layer. I taped the 1" strips across the bottom.
Next I cut a 3/4" strip of Poppy Parade card stock to go horizontally across the front of the card. I set that on the card to see where the words were going to go.
The words are from the "Very Best Occasions" set and were stamped using Garden Green ink. I colored in the leaves using my Garden Green marker and my Poppy Parade marker for the berries. Then I taped the Basic White piece in place on the front of the card.
The strip was taped over the area where the edge of the strips are, I pretty much centered that strip over the edge of the 2" strips.
I colored some crystal rhinestones with my Blends pen and set them in place on the front of the card.
A 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Basic White card stock was added to the inside and the card was done.
This is a very quick and easy card to make. It's got a nice look to it too.
Thank you SO very much for taking your time to stop by and see today's Christmas card,
Wanda

I did a case of your card from 10/22. I will post it on my blog tomorrow. It was such fun! http:\\mudmaven.blogspot.com ~chris
This is a perfect layout to use "pieces" of dsp left over from previous projects.
