Here's how I made the card. First I fussy cut three pumpkins and some leaves. I fussy cut around the vines. That part I didn't like but I survived it! LOL Then I cut the card stock.
The base of the card is a folded half-sheet of Basic Black card stock. I cut a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Basic White for the inside.
Next I cut the DSP from the "Rustic Harvest" 12" x 12" package. It measured 4" x 5-1/4" and I taped it to the front of the card.
Then the top two layers were cut. The Basic Black piece measured 4-1/8" x 2-7/8" and the Basic White piece measured 4" x 2-3/4".
The pumpkins and leaves were fussy cut and the one pumpkin with the vine was the worst to cut because the vine was kind of winding around a bit. But I cut it out and was happy with the way it looked.
I set the second and third pumpkin on top of the Basic White piece to see where the words would go. The words are from the "Art gallery" set and were stamped using Mossy Meadow ink.
Next I taped the Basic Black piece to the Basic White piece and began adding the pumpkins and leaves. I set the piece in place on the front of the card using Dimensionals.
I taped a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Basic White card stock on the inside and the card was done.
This was a very fun and easy card to make. It's not only great for a fall Thanksgiving type card but a masculine birthday card as well.
Thank you SO very much for taking your time to stop by and see today's masculine birthday card,
Wanda
This is a great card! I really hate fussy cutting though and so maybe I'll try another way to get the same result! Thanks! ~chris
ReplyDeleteI am LOVING your card share for today. OH SO PRETTY!!!
ReplyDeleteI didn't order that package of dsp but I sure like what you did with those pumpkins. Your fussy cutting looks like they were die cut. Great card!
