The base of the card is a folded half-sheet of Basic Black card stock. I cut the card stock in half on the short side so once it was cut the piece measured 4-1/4" x 11". After folding it in half, I cut off 1-1/2" off the bottom of the front flap.
Next I cut a 4-1/8" x 5-3/8" piece of Gorgeous Grape card stock for the inside and on top of that is a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Basic White card stock.
On the front I cut a 3-7/8" x 4-1/8" piece of Gorgeous Grape card stock and a 3-3/4" x 4" piece of Designer Series Paper (DSP) from the "Lights Aglow" 6" x 6" stack. I taped the Gorgeous Grape piece to the front and the DSP was taped on top of that. I taped the larger Gorgeous Grape piece to the inside but not the Basic White piece. I lined that piece up with the three trick or treaters image and stamped it and the words "boo" using black Memento ink. Then I taped the Basic White piece to the inside.
I die cut the framed tree piece using the matching dies in the "Scary Cute" bundle. I also die cut the house and the bat at the same time. Then I took the outer frame piece and die cut a vellum piece for behind the framed tree piece.
I glued the Basic Black framed tree piece to the vellum and then glued that piece to the front of the card.
The house was set in place using Dimensionals. I thought it should be popped up. And I also set the bat in place with Dimensionals. I thought that corner could use something.
The words are from the same "Scary Cute" set and were stamped using black Memento ink on Pumpkin Pie card stock. I die cut them using the stitched circle die from the "Stylish Shapes" die set. I used the 3rd smallest circle die. The words were set in place using Dimensionals and some black enamel dots were added and the card was finished.
I think it's adorable and I LOVE the background!
Thank you SO very much for taking your time to stop by and see today's Halloween card,
