Anyway, here's how I made today's card. I cut a sheet of Basic White card stock in half. This card opens on the right and the fold is on the left.
Then I cut a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Basic White card stock and textured it using the "Wintry 3D" embossing folder. It's not wide enough to do the whole piece so I had to run it through my Big Shot twice.
I die cut the trees from the "Mountain Air" bundle using Basic White card stock that had a double-sided sticky sheet on the back. There was no was I was gluing or taping those trees in place. Oh, maybe a third tree is the answer??? Oops, got sidetracked here. I set the two trees in place on the left side of the textured piece.
Then I die cut the deer from the "Grassy Grove" set using Basic White card stock. I set it in place using a couple of Dimensionals. The words are from the "Penguin Place" set and were stamped using Balmy Blue ink. I die cut them with the cute little oval die from the "Mini Pocket Envelope" die set. I used the widest part of my Balmy Blue marker and ran the edge of the oval along it to give it some color. Dimensionals were added to the back and the oval was set in place. And the card was done.
Now normally I will change a card later after I've given it a lot of thought but I don't post my changes on here because I'm posting something new. But the more I thought of that third tree, the more I thought that's what was missing. What do you think?
Thank you SO much for taking your time to stop by and see today's Christmas card,
Wanda
