The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Basic White card stock. This card opens on the bottom and the fold is on the top. I cut the bottom of the front piece off using a die from the "Basic Borders" die set.
I stamped the cute little witch from the "Best Witches" set using black Memento ink. I colored her in using my Blends pens. I used Highland Heather, Pumpkin Pie, Basic Black, Soft Suede, Petal Pink, Daffodil Delight and Balmy Blue. Where is the Balmy Blue you ask? It's just on the bubbles. And right after I colored them I thought they should have been Granny Apple Green instead.
The little frog was stamped next and colored in using both light and dark Granny Apple Green. I took the light Balmy Blue Blends and colored a little under the images.
The words are from the same "Best Witches" set and were stamped using black Memento ink. I die cut them with the scalloped rectangle die from the "Mini Pocket Envelope" die set. I added a 1-1/2" x 2-1/4" piece of Basic Black card stock behind it. I taped those two pieces together. Dimensionals were added behind the piece and it was set in place on the front of the card.
I die cut three bats from the "Scary Cute" bundle using Basic Black card stock. I glued them in place on the front of the card.
A 1-1/2" piece of Designer Series Paper (DSP) was cut from the "Gingham Cottage" 12" x 12" stack. You get a lot of fun papers in that stack, 48 pieces to be exact. And after taping that piece in place the card was done. Fun and cute.
Thank you SO very much for taking your time to stop by and see today's Halloween card,
Wanda
