The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Sahara Sand. A perfect color to go with Gorgeous Grape and yet a color I don't use very often. This card opens on the right and the fold is on the left.
The Gorgeous Grape layer is cut at 4" x 5-1/4" and taped to the card base. And the DSP from the "Wonderful World". I used two scrap pieces. The top piece was cut at 3-3/4" x 2-1/4" and the bottom piece was cut at 3-3/4" x 3". I taped the bottom piece down first because it was the tallest and then I taped the upper piece down.
I cut a 1/2" x 3-3/4" piece of Sahara Sand strip and I taped it down to cover where the two pieces of DSP meet.
The flower is from the same package and I die cut it using the "Fabulous Frames" die set. The frame die is SO pretty. I used the same die to cut the outside frame for the flower. I cut a 2-1/2" x 3-1/8" piece of scrap card stock. When I cut it on the shorter side, I cut over the 2-1/2" mark to make it a hair wider. I glued it to the back of the Sahara Sand frame. Then I taped the floral image inside the frame. Dimensionals were added to the back and the piece was set in place in the upper left corner of the card.
The "hello" is from the "Forever Fern" set and was stamped using Gorgeous Grape ink on a scrap piece of Basic White card stock. I trimmed it to measure 7/16" x 1-1/2". I taped it in place over the cute tag label that is in the same "Fabulous Frames" set.
I was going to color some pearls to set on the front but I saw I had some retired candy dots so I used them instead. I have so many embellishments to try to use up and sometimes a card comes along that allows me to pop on a few.
A 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Basic White card stock was added to the inside and the card was done.
This was a very fun, quick, and easy card to make. I like the pretty purple flower, it just pops with the white background it was printed on.
Thank you SO very much for taking your time to stop by and see today's friendship card,
Wanda

Your card is just lovely! I received that paper a couple of weeks ago and sad to say haven't opened the package yet.
This card is STUNNING.
