The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Basic White card stock. The layer on top is a 3-3/4" x 5" piece of Basic White card stock that I roughed up the edges using the edge of my scissors.
Next I fussy cut the flower from the "Wonderful World" Designer Series Paper (DSP) 12" x 12" package. I added Dimensionals to the back and I laid it on top of the Basic White piece I had just cut. It needed some sort of background so I took my Blending Brush and Mango Melody ink and scrubbed on some color.
Then I set the piece in my Stamparatus to see where the words would go. Since I needed a birthday card and the words from the "Art Gallery" set were perfect to go across the bottom area, I stamped them using black Memento ink.
Once the words were done I affixed the flower to the Basic White piece and then I affixed the Basic White piece to the card base and the card was done.
This was as easy as I thought it would be. It's pretty and it was quick too!
Thank you SO very much for taking your time to stop by and see today's birthday card,
Wanda

It really is very pretty! You've got a good touch for fussy cutting! It takes patience. Love blended background you added before attaching the flower.
I am IN LOVE with this card.
I don't like to fussy cut.....but this would be a card I would do.
