Today's card was very quick and easy to make due to the "Santa Express" Designer Series Paper (DSP). You get a nice big 12" x 12" package with lots of fun images.
The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Basic White card stock. This card happens to open on the right and the fold is on the left. It's not what I planned but I had grabbed the wrong folded card and it just ended up this way. But it's okay, it still looks nice.
I cut a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of DSP that had the Poppy Parade color. It's actually the backside of the next piece of DSP on the card. That piece is a fun scenery with trees, candy canes, mountains, gift packages, and more. I cut that piece 3" x 4-1/4". I taped the Poppy Parade colored one down first and then the scenery one on top of that. But before I taped it I stamped the greetings from the "Penguin Place" using Granny Apple Green ink.
The train is from the same DSP package and I used the die from the "Santa's Delivery" bundle to die cut it. I also die cut three puffs of smoke. I set the train and the smoke in place using Dimensionals and the card was done. Yup, that was it. Super quick. Super Simple. And Super fun!
Thank you SO very much for stopping by to see this super Christmas card,
Wanda
