The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Crumb Cake card stock. This card opens on the right and the fold is on the left.
I cut a piece of DSP from the "Wonderful World" 12" x 12" package. The piece measures 4" x 3-3/4". I taped it to the upper part of the card.
Then I took a 2-1/4" x 3-3/4" piece of Basic White and stamped the flower from the "Wonderful World" set. I used my Rich Razzleberry and Pear Pizzazz markers to color it in.
A 2-1/2" x 4-5/8" piece of Rich Razzleberry card stock was cut for the layer. I used the scalloped die from the "Basic Borders" die set to trim the bottom slightly. Meaning I didn't take much off to create the scallop. I tied a piece of white Baker's Twine around the bottom part and tied a bow. Dimensionals were added to the back and the piece was set in place in the upper right corner.
The words are from the "Celebrating You" set and were stamped using Rich Razzleberry ink. I was going to fussy cut around them like I had seen in the original card but my words were pretty much squared off so I just cut them on the paper cutter. They measure 1/2" x 2-1/4". And the Rich Razzleberry layer behind it is cut at 3/4" x 2-1/2". The words were taped to the layer and a Dimensional was added to the left side and tape to the right. The piece was set in place on the front of the card.
A few sequins were added too. One on each flower and one to the bottom area beneath the words.
A 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Basic White was added to the inside and the card was done.
This was a super quick and easy card to make.
Thank you SO very much for taking your time to stop by and see today's anniversary card,
Wanda
I am LOVING this card layout. TFS!
