The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Basic Black card stock. I had started out using Basic White but ended up trimming it down as a layer, it was just too blah. The Basic Black made a big difference.
I cut a piece of the DSP at 3" x 3-1/2". I colored in my pumpkins and layered it with a 3-1/4" x 3-3/4" piece of Old Olive. I taped the two layers together and then taped it to the bottom part of the card.
The Basic White focal piece was cut at 2-1/8" x 2-5/8" and the Old Olive layer was cut at 2-3/8" x 2-7/8". The trick or treaters from the "Scary Cute" set were stamped using black Memento ink. I set it up in my Stamparatus so I could ink it up a couple more times to get a nice solid black image. I love that handy tool!! Then I stamped the words from the same set using Pumpkin Pie ink. I taped the two layers together. A moon was die cut using Daffodil Delight card stock and glued in place. Dimensionals were added to the back and the piece was set in place on the front of the card and that was it.
This was a very quick, easy, and fun card to make. I do like the pumpkins colored in SO much better. And it didn't take long either. I just scribbled over the area. The black background hid any coloring that went outside the lines. I could have been careful coloring but I knew I didn't need to.
Thank you SO much for taking your time to stop by and see today's Halloween card,
Wanda
