The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Basic White card stock. This card opens on the right and the fold is on the left.
I cut a piece of Melon Mambo at 4" x 5-1/4".
A piece of Designer Series Paper (DSP) from the "Hues of Happiness" measures 3-3/4" x 3-1/4". And I cut a piece for the top (which is the backside of the floral piece) at 3-3/4" x 2". I taped the top piece down first and then the bottom piece. The bottom piece will overlap the top piece a bit. I just lined up the top and side edges for the top piece and the bottom and side edges for the bottom piece.
I cut a 1/2" x 4" piece of Basic White card stock to stamp the words from the "Happiness Abounds" set. Melon Mambo ink was used there. A 3/4" x 4" piece of Melon Mambo card stock was cut for the layer behind the words. The words were taped to the strip and the strip was taped to the front of the card about 1-5/8" down from the top of the card base.
A flower from the "Hues of Happiness" DSP was die cut and set in place using Dimensionals.
Two crystal rhinestones were colored using the dark Melon Mambo Blends pen and the card was done.
This is a very quick, easy, fun, and pretty card to make. I think it will make a lovely wedding card but changing the words it can be used for many other occasions.
Thank you SO very much for taking your time to stop by and see today's wedding card,
Wanda
