The base of the card is a folded half-sheet of Night of Navy card stock. This card opens on the right and the fold is on the left.
I cut a 3-1/4" x 4-3/8" piece of Basic White card stock. On top of that I had cut three strips of "Hues of Happiness" Designer Series Paper (DSP). I cut all three at 4-1/4" x 1". Try to keep the pieces in order, it makes it easier and quicker to assemble them. I messed mine up and it took me a minute to figure out which strip went where! I taped the DSP strips on top of the Basic White piece.
I took some retired Night of Navy ribbon and wrapped a 5" piece around the Basic White piece. I taped the ends on the back using scotch tape.
Next I stamped the words from the "Lovely & Lasting" set using Night of Navy ink. Then I die cut them using a die from the "Painted Labels" die set. I taped the word piece to the front of the card, across the ribbon. Then I tied a bow and glued it in place on the front of the card.
Dimensionals were added to the back of the Basic White piece and it was set in place on the front of the card.
A 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Basic White card stock was added to the inside of the card and the card was done.
This was a very fun and easy card to make. If you know who is the original designer of this card, please let me know so I can give them credit and a link back.
Thank you SO very much for taking your time to stop by and see today's Thinking of You card,
Wanda
What a FUN layout. Adding the ribbon makes it look like 6-indivual panels. LOVE IT!
