The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Misty Moonlight card stock. This card opens on the bottom and the fold is on the top.
I cut a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Rich Razzleberry card stock for the layer that is under the "New Horizons" Designer Series Paper (DSP). I sponged on some Rich Razzleberry ink below the horizon image to make it look like it's reflecting in the water. Then I added some Crushed Curry ink to the bottom center of the DSP. And a little Highland Heather was added to the bottom right.
The trees from the "Grassy Grove" set were stamped using Mossy Meadow ink. I also stamped again without adding more ink. this gives the trees a thicker look.
The birds are from the "Let's Set Sail" set and were stamped using black Memento ink.
The words are from the "Wildflower Path" set and were stamped using black Memento ink. I had gotten them a little crooked. The only way to fix that is to stamp the words on a piece of card stock and set it over the words with Dimensionals. Or just leave it like I did!
A 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Basic White was added to the inside and the card was done.
This was a fun, quick, and easy card to make. Sponging the ink for additional color really added to the DSP.
Thank you SO much for taking your time to stop by and see today's masculine birthday card,
Wanda
