I found this card on Pinterest. There was something about it that caught my eye. I'm not sure if it was how the card was made or if it was the "New Horizons" Designer Series Paper (DSP). You can see the original card here.
The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Basic White card stock. The sheet was cut on the short 8-1/2" side so once cut the piece measured 4-1/4" x 11".
The piece was scored at 5-1/2" and folded in half. This card opens on the bottom and the fold is on the top.
I cut a 3" x 3" piece of the DSP and stamped the words from the "Wildflower Path" set using black Memento ink.
A 3-1/8" x 3-1/8" piece of Misty Moonlight card stock. I taped the DSP to the card stock and that was taped to the front of the card. I lined up the left, top, and right sides eyeing it as equally as possible.
Next I took my card to my scoring board and with the front facing the scoring board and the image side on the right, I scored lines at 9-1/2", 9-3/4", and 10". I scored it this way because I wanted the front to have bumps and not indentations. And that was it!
This was another super easy and quick card to make. I'm still now sure what I like more, the DSP or the scored lines. It's a tossup! I just like the looks of this card.
Thank you SO very much for taking your time to see today's thank you card,
