The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Basic White card stock. The sheet was cut in half on the short side so this card measured 4-1/4" x 11" before it was folded in half.
I stamped the flower from the "Color & Contour" set using black Memento ink. Then I cut it using the coordinating die.
The flowers were colored using the light Daffodil Delight Blends pen and then the light and dark Pumpkin Pie Blends pens were used to color them in even more.
The stems were colored using both light and dark Mossy Meadow Blends pens. I added Dimensionals to the back and set it aside.
I took the scalloped die from the set and cut the bottom of the front of the card. about 1" was cut off from the front bottom edge.
I cut a 4-1/4" x 1-3/4" piece of Designer Series Paper (DSP) from the Neutrals 6" x 6" stack. I taped it to the bottom of the inside of the card.
I set the flower on the front to see where the words would go and then I set them aside again. I stamped the words from the "Peaceful Moments" set using black Memento ink.
Once again I set the flower on the front of the card to see where the dots should go. The dots are from the "Color & Contour" set and were stamped using Gray Granite ink that was stamped off once. I did that three times over the area where the flower would be going.
The flower was set in place and the card was done.
This is a quick and easy card to make. And I was glad I could make this flower into a fall looking one too! YAY for versatility!
Thank you SO very much for taking your time to see this quick, easy and versatile card,
Wanda
