So as I was looking through the samples, I saw this one with the trees and thought I'd work with it first. It was 4" x 6" so I cut it down to 5-1/4" x 4? I taped it to a piece of Basic Gray card stock that was in my sample package. I also taped a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Basic White card stock on the inside (the Basic White was also in the package, it was a half-sheet.)
I took the other half of the Basic White sheet and I die cut the solid bulb shape from it. Then I took some silver glitter paper and I die cut the snowflake using the "Delicate Baubles" piece. I glued it in place on top of the Basic White piece.
There's also a cute ribbon die and I cut one of Basic Gray card stock. I glued it to the top of the bulb.
The words are from the "Banner Year" set and were stamped using Basic Gray ink. I set it up in my Stamparatus because I had already taped it to the front of the card. You can stamp the words before taping, it's probably a better idea. With the Stamparatus, it doesn't matter if you do it before or after, the magnets hold the piece in place nicely.
I set the bulb in place using Dimensionals and the card was done. I'm not sure if I like it or not. I don't dislike it but I think it needs to grow on me!
Thank you SO much for taking your time to stop in and see today's Christmas card,
Wanda
