The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Basic White card stock. This card opens on the right and the fold is on the left.
I cut a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Highland Heather card stock. Before I taped it in place on the front of the card I die cut the long lacy rectangle piece from the "Ornate Layers" dies.
Also in that pack of dies is the center Basic White rectangle and another die I used at the same time to cut the center out.
I cut a piece of Basic Black card stock that was just a little smaller than the Basic White rectangle piece and I glued the two together. I added Dimensionals to the back and affixed it to the Highland Heather lacy rectangle piece.
The pumpkin and the words are from the "Cutest Halloween" set. I stamped the black outline of the pumpkin first and then the Pumpkin Pie orange center. The words were stamped using black Memento ink. The circles measure 1-3/8". I had a die from the "Frightful Tags" that has a circle in it that I used for my card. I had die cut two black and then the word piece (I did stamp the words before cutting). The pumpkins have a punch so I just punched them out when I was done stamping them. Then I stamped the faces and colored the top with Early Espresso ink. I added Dimensionals to the back of each pumpkin and affixed them to the black circles. The word circle just had Dimenisonals only, no layer behind it.
I taped the lacy piece to the left side of the card and I spaced out the circles and set them on the right side.
I decided the pumpkins needed something so I added Wink of Stella to the eyes and mouth of each of them.
I also added some orange colored rhinestones to the rectangle panel. I colored the smallest rhinestones with my Pumpkin Pie Blends pen and the card was done.
I think it's perfect for a child or adult. It's fun and festive. I just LOVE that dotted background.
Thank you SO very much for taking your time to stop by to see my fun kid friendly Halloween card,
Wanda
