The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Basic White card stock. This card opens on the bottom and the fold is on the top.
I used the stitched scalloped die from the "Scalloped Contour" die set. I measured it about 1/2" up from the bottom of the front of the card.
A 1" x 5-1/2" strip of Designer Series Paper (DSP) from the "Hand-Penned" 12" x 12" package was taped to the bottom of the inside of the card. I wanted to make sure it was wide enough so when the front was closed you didn't see any of the white parts of the inside of the card.
The flowers were stamped using Crushed Curry, Pumpkin Pie, and Cajun Craze inks. The outline image was stamped over each flower using black Memento ink. The flowers were then die cut using the matching dies.
The words are from the same "Color & Contour" set and were stamped using black Memento ink.
The set also contains a dotted image and I was going to add it but opted to just keep it simple and clean.
I set the Cajun Craze flower in place buy taping it to the card front. The other two flowers were set in place with Dimensionals. I had colored the inside of the flowers using my dark Daffodil Delight Blends pen. Then I colored some rhinestones using my dark Pumpkin Pie Blends pen and they were set in place on the center of each flower. And the card was done.
This was a very quick and easy card to make. And it's in fall colors!!! Mission accomplished.
Thank you SO very much for taking your time to stop by seeing today's fall thank you card,
