The base of this card is a folded half-sheet of the new Polished Pink card stock.
I cut a 2-3/4" x 4" piece of Basic White card stock. I set a 3" x 4" piece of the DSP on top and lightly drew a pencil line. I did not want my die to cut above this line.
The die I used is from the "Scalloped Contours" set. I don't know why I hadn't bought this sooner. I love all the dies in this set.
Once the scalloped piece was cut I set the card stock in my Stamparatus and stamped the words from the "Sweet Ice Cream" set using Polished Pink ink. I could have moved them down just a little bit more but it's still nice the way it is.
The DSP was taped down first and then the scalloped piece was taped over it.
A few pink rhinestones were added to the upper part and a 4" x 5-1/4" piece was added to the inside and the card was done.
This is a super quick and easy card to make. I love the look of it but what I love more is that I can use my busy DSP. I have a lot of DSP left from the "Flowers For Every Season" 6" x 6" pack. I tried so hard to use that stack but didn't succeed in finishing even half of it. SO this layout will help me use up some of the busier flowered sheets.
Thank you SO very much for taking your time to see this fun, quick and easy birthday card,
Wanda

I love this pretty card, Wanda. I have the Scalloped Contours but I haven't used the scalloped edge die. It adds a lot of interest to your card. Using my DSP is my goal this year. Thanks for the inspiration. Enjoy your day.
Great looking card and using the Scalloped Contours Dies worked out PERFECTLY for this card.
