And once again, today's card came from Pinterest. I loved the scalloped border but I didn't have the same die as the one on the original card, so I used what I had. You can see the original card here.
The base of the card is a folded half-sheet of Basic Whtie card stock. This card opens on the right and the fold is on the left. I cut a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Basic White card stock for the top layer. I taped a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Designer Series Paper (DSP) from the "Hand-Penned" 12" x 12" package. You could get by cutting it at 4" x 4".
I took the scallpped die from the "Penned Flowers" dies (they match the "Hand-Penned" set) and I die cut a piece of Basic White card stock. I used a 4" x 3" piece because I wanted to make sure I got it long enough. I cut the edge and then I set it on top of the front of the card. From the tip of the scallop to the top edge, the piece measures 1-1/2".
The strip on the top is a scrap piece of the DSP. I didn't have the matching ribbon so I improvised with a piece of the DSP. Though I think a strip of the Pale Papaya card stock might have been prettier, the top looks like it's missing something.

Next I die cut the largest circle in the "Layered Circles" pack using a piece of Pale Papaya card stock. I set the circle as far to each edge so I had some scrap to die cut the leaves from the "Penned Flowers" dies. I cut two of the larger sets and one of the smaller.
The flowers were die cut using Basic White card stock. If I'd been thinking, I would have cut them from the center of the Basic White piece I taped down on top of the card base. But I have plenty of scrap white so I was good. I do need to use that up too. I did add some Wink of Stella to the flowers to give them a bit of a sparkle. It did add a lot. I doesn't show up in the photo but it is there!
In the "Penned Flowers" dies is a larger detailed flower/leaves die. That is what I used for the Soft Succulent (green) image.
I glued the Soft Succulent piece on top of the circle. Then I added the two Basic White flowers using Dimensionals. I didn't add any Dimensionals where the flowers overlap. Well, I did but I had to carefully remove it because it didn't lay nice!! (confession time here! LOL). Then I glued the tips of the Pale Papaya leaves in place.
Dimensionals were added to the back of the circle and the cirlce was set in place on the front of the card.
The original card did not have words so I used the ones from the set and I punched them out using my retired "Modern Label" punch and I snipped the ends. If you don't have a punch you can cut the piece to 3/8" x 2-7/8". A Dimensional was added to the left side and glue was added to the right and the piece was set in place.
Tiny pearls were added to the scallops. I was going to do every other scallop but it didn't work out evenly across the card so I just added one to each bump! And the card was done.
I like the looks of this card. I think it's the color that is most pleasing to me.
Thank you SO very much for taking your time to stop by and see this sweet card,
Wanda
Such a unique and beautiful card.
