I found this pretty card on Pinterest. It looks more difficult than it was to make. You can see the original card here. I clicked on the photo but it didn't take me to the link to the card for any directions, so here is how I made it. I don't know what it is about this card that caught my eye. Maybe it's that all the colors were so pleasing that it drew me in. I'm not sure but I'm glad it did!
The base of the card is a folded half-sheet of Crumb Cake card stock. This card opens on the bottom and the fold is on the top.
I had a 2-1/2" x 4-1/4" piece of Blushing Bride card stock to use for the strip. I set it aside for now.
The scalloped edge rectangle is from the "Scalloped Contours" dies. It's the largest one in the set. And it was die cut on a quarter sheet of Basic White card stock. I set the piece on top of the Crumb Cake card base to see where to set the Blushing Bride piece. My piece was a tight fit. I needed it to cover the inside of the scallops. I ended up adding a little bit of snail tape to the back of the scalloped piece so I could get the piece to fill in the scallop centers. I worked with the scalloped piece and the Blushing Bride piece together because I needed the scalloped piece to be centered on the card and I needed the Blushing Bride piece to not only cover the scalloped edge pieces but to be even on top and bottom. I did have the opportunity to trim my piece to 4-1/4" and I should have waited until I was done attaching it and then trim it. It would have saved me a lot of time!
Once I got the Blushing Bride piece on and the scalloped rectangle in place, I cut the layers for the inside of that scalloped rectangle. I took a piece of Pale Papaya and cut it 4-5/8" x 3-5/16" and I cut the focal piece (Basic White) at 4-1/2" x 3-3/16".
I stamped the flowers from the "Color & Contour" set using Crumb Cake for the center one. Blushing Bride for the left one and Pale Papaya for the right one. I also used the solid stamp to stamp the inside of the flowers with their matching colors.

The words were added next. They are actually separate but I added them on my Stamparatus so I could ink and stamp them both at the same time. They were stamped using Crumb Cake ink. Once the stamping was done I taped the Basic White piece to the Pale Papaya piece. I'm not sure if this is a get well card or a thinking of you card.
A linen thread was tied wrapped around the piece and tied in a bow on the front. I did have a bit of an issue with my knot. It tied very tightly but the thread around the card stock was too loose. SO instead of redoing it, I just took some scotch tape and taped it to the back so it appears to be nice and tight. Well, it is nice and tight but it's not straight across tight in the back. It's kind of a mess but it's taped down so only you know what the back of my card looks like! Don't tell anyone! LOL I added Dimensionals to the back of this layered piece. I also made sure the Dimensionals went across the linen thread to hold it down more too. That thread isn't going anywhere!
I added three half pearls to the center of each flower and a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Basic White to the inside of the card and the card was done.
This was a fun card to make. I am REALLY liking this set so far! I bought it because I realy liked the long stem with the three flowers on it. I'll be making a card with it sometime soon.
Thank you SO much for taking your time to see this sweet card,
Wanda
