The base of the card is a folded half-sheet of Basic White card stock. This card opens on the right and the fold is on the left.
I cut a 3-1/4" x 4-1/2" piece of Evening Evergreen card stock.
Then I cut a 3" x 4-1/4" piece of Designer Series Paper (DSP) from the "Expressions in Ink" 12" x 12" package. I had a scrap piece that I was able to use. Ya gotta love it when you can use the smaller pieces.
I die cut the flower from the "Artistic Dies" set using gold foil card stock. I did not use a sticky back sheet for it. I was thinking that I should have after I die cut it but I just glued it to the front of the card. Glue was added to the wider areas on the die cut piece, they were mostly in the center of the larger flower. It was enough to hold the piece in place.
The words are from the "Artistically Inked" set and were stamped using black Memento ink. I cut the piece to measure 5/8" x 3". And I cut an Evening Evergreen layer that measured 3/4" x 3-1/8". I taped the words to the layer and added Dimensionals on the back. I set the piece in place on the front of the card. The words piece is 1-3/8" up from the bottom edge of the card.
A added 5 small white pearls to the front of the card and the card was done.
I really like this DSP, it's a card in itself! But, like with this card, you can add just a few little items and it's now a fabulous looking card. The gold is SO rich looking.
Thank you SO very much for taking your time to stop by today and see this "fabulous looking" card,
Wanda
