I wanted some pretty paper and the Designer Series Paper (DSP) from the "Expressions in Ink" package was just what I was looing for.
The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Basic White card stock. This card opens on the right and the fold is on the left.
I cut a piece of Polished Pink card stock 3-7/8" x 3-7/8" and I cut the DSP at 3-5/8" x 3-5/8". Then I took each piece and separately cut them on the diagonal. I matched the tips to the cutting line on my paper cutter. I taped the DSP to the card stock on both halves. I set them on top of my folded card so I could line up where the words would go. I did set this up in my Stamparatus because I didn't want to get it wrong and I wanted to make sure I got it inked up enough. I was glad I did because my ink pad was just a little bit dry and did not stamp as dark as I had wanted it. So since it was in the Stamparatus, I just added more ink to the words and stamped them again. It was now bold enough!
Once the words were stamped I taped the triangles in place on the upper left and bottom right corners and the card was done. I told you it was simple but I forgot to say how quick it was too! And pretty??? I think so.
