The base of this card is a folded half-sheet of Basic White card stock.
A 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Night of Navy card stock was cut and taped to the card base.
The Basic White piece was cut at 3-7/8" x 5-1/8". The first thing I stamped were the words. I wanted to make sure I get them on nice and straight with plenty of room for bow ties. The words were stamped using Night of Navy ink.
Then I die cut the bow using the die from the "Suit & Tie" dies and some Designer Series Paper (DSP) from the "Well Suited" 12" x 12" package. I also cut the small oval from the same DSP. I set the bow on the Basic White piece so I would know where to stamp the bow ties.
The bow ties were stamped using Night of Navy ink and were just added randomly.
I taped the Basic White piece to the Night of Navy piece.
The die cut bow tie was added using Dimensionals. I also added a small Dimensional to the center oval of the bow tie and the card was done. I told you it was a very quick card. It took longer to get the materials out to make this card than it did to make it. Well, in my workroom it takes a while! LOL
Thank you SO very much for taking your time to see this quick and easy masculine birthday card,
Wanda
HOW FUN......the stamped bow tie images are perfect.....But the single navy bow tie just completes this card. TFS!
