The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Basic White card stock. And it's the whole card. I guess this would be a very inexpensive card to make! Anyway, this card opens at the bottom and the fold is at the top.
The first thing I stamped were the words. They are from the "Forever Fern" set using black Memento ink.
I used 1" wide Post it Note tape to cover the words so I wouldn't get any leaves or stems on them. I also took a scrap piece of copier paper to cover the bottom while I worked on the bottom and then covered the top while I worked on the bottom.
I used three of the leaf images from the "Forever Fern" set. The center leaves were stamped using Mossy Meadow ink. I stamped the top ones first and just left my stamp on top of my ink pad until I was ready to do the bottom.
The leaves on each side of the center leaves were stamped using Old Olive ink and the outer leaves were stamped using Pear Pizzazz ink. The dots were added using Pale Papaya ink and the dotted stamp in the "Forever Fern" set. I was going to use something darker, something more in the orange area. I took out my Cajun Craze ink pad and found it was too dark so I decided to just stick with the Pale Papaya. It kept the card looking more summery than fall.
I removed the copier paper piece and stamped the bottom the same way and the card was done.
It's an okay card but I miss all the layers. I think I would have rather stamped the leaves like I did but added the words on a separate piece of card stock and set it in place with Dimensionals. But that's me, I just have to have a layer! LOL
Thank you SO very much for taking your time to stop by and see this no layer card,
Wanda

Your card is GREAT Wanda.
Layers add a nice dimension to cards but this card is also very attractive. I love that stamp set!
Oh that is so pretty and I’m going to make that card.
