The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Basic White card stock. I cut a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Pool Party card stock and taped it to the card base.
Then I cut a 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" piece of Basic White card stock and I textured it using the "Ornate Floral" embossing folder. I glued it to the Pool Part piece.
I took a piece of Designer Series Paper (DSP) from the "Fine Art Floral" 12" x 12" package and I die cut the butterflies from the "Butterfly Brilliance" bundle. I cut a Dimensional and added it to the widest part of the center of each butterfly.
The words are from the "Back on Your Feet" set and were stamped using black Memento ink on a scrap piece of Basic White card stock. I punched it out using the "Double Oval" punch. I also punched out the scalloped oval using a scrap piece of Pool Party card stock. The punch has both the large scalloped and smaller smooth oval in it. I taped the ovals together. I added Dimensionals to the back of the Pool Party oval.
I set the butterflies on top of the card for placement. I needed to make sure there is room for the word piece. Once I liked where they were going to sit, I removed the backing from the Dimensional and set everything in place. And that was it.
This is a very quick and easy card to make. I like the looks of it too!
Thank you ever SO much for taking your time to stop by and see this sweet butterfly card,
Wanda
