This is a very quick and easy card to make.
The base of the card is a folded half-sheet of Basic White card stock.
I cut a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Designer Series Paper (DSP) from the "Expressions in Ink" 12" x 12" package. This piece was taped in place on the card base.
The leaves were die cut using another piece of the same DSP. This sheet has some light and dark sides to it. This happened to be light lighter pink side. Here it looks more white but if you look at the bottom leaf you can see the variegation in the colors. Plus against the white word piece you can see it looks more pink.
The words are from the "Artistically Inked" set and were stamped using Polished Pink ink. Then they were die cut using the "Stitched So Sweetly" dies. I find it easier to clean those little pieces from the leaves using card stock than I did using DSP. But I managed to get them out out. I cut off the top two leaves and I was ready to assemble.
I set the words in place using Dimensionals.
Then the leaves were set in place. I used a dot of Tombow glue on the upper part of the stem and on the 4th leaf where it touches the stem. There's a nice wide spot there for a dot of glue.
The gold cord was tied in a bow and set in place using another dot of Tombow glue. And the card was done. I think the word piece could use something. I was going to use a stitched oval die but they are retired and I wanted to try to use current items. I miss those ovals and I don't understand why they were retired. I may look for some sequins or gold metallic pearls to add to that empty looking word piece.
Thank you SO very much for taking your time to stop by and see this pink thank you card,
Wanda
