First of all, I think it's a very pretty card. The base of the card is a folded half-sheet of Polished Pink. This card opens on the bottom and the fold is on the top. Set aside for now.
Two 4" x 5-1/4" pieces of Basic White card stock were cut, one for the inside and one for the front.
A 2" x 5-1/4" piece of Polished Pink card stock was cut for the strip. The Designer Series Paper (DSP) is from the "Expressions in Ink" 12" x 12" package was cut at 1-3/4" x 5-1/4" and taped to the Polished Pink Strip. Then it was set in place on top of the Basic White piece that was cut for the front.
Then a piece of Basic White was used for the larger flower die from the "Artistically Inked" bundle. I did use a sticky sheet to make it into a sticker because I didn't want to glue the piece. It was then set in place in the center of the card.
The words I used are from the "Peaceful Moments" set and were stamped on a scrap piece of Basic White card stock using Polished Pink ink. They were die cut using a die from the "Ornate Frames" dies. Dimensionals were added to the back and the word piece was centered on the card.
Three sets of leaves from the "Artistically Inked" set and were stamped using Polished Pink ink. They were die cut. The woman in the video fussy cut them. Then they were folded in half and the leaves were curled a little using a bone folder. Dimensionals were added behind two of the leaf sets. One of the sets of leaves were cut in half and the other leaf discarded. The leaves were then set in place as seen in the photo.
Gold foil leaves were die cut. They are from the large leaf die in the bundle. Three single leaves were cut off and used for this card. A bit of glue was added to the ends of the leaves and they were tucked in place. I did cut off the stems on the leaves so I could tuck them in better.
The little flowers were from the "Hand-Penned Petals" bundle and were set in place on the card. I didn't have the flowers that were used in the video so I used what I had. I glued my flowers in place.
The butterfly was die cut from the gold foil paper. I did use a sticky sheet because I didn't want to glue the butterfly. It is from the "Butterfly Brilliance" bundle.
I added some gold "Metallic Pearls" and some white pearls that were a little larger than the gold. I didn't have the embellishments that were used on the original card.
I do like how this card turned out but took a long time to get all the instructions to make it. I would love to make another one and I will follow my instructions because it will be a lot quicker!!
Thank you SO very much for taking your time to see today's card,
Wanda
