The base of the card is a folded half-sheet of Basic White card stock. This card opens on the right an the fold is on the left.
I cut a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Basic White card stock and a 5" x 4" piece of Basic White card stock that I textured using the "Ornate Floral" embossing folder. I cut it in half so it measured 5" x 2". I'm going to save the other strip for a future card. I glued the embossed piece to the 4" x 5-1/4" piece. I added Dimensionals to the back and set it in place on the front of the card.
A 2" x 3" piece of Basic White card stock was set in place on the middle of the card using Dimensionals.
The flower is from the "Art Gallery" set and was stamped using Flirty Flamingo ink. I stamped off on the more solid image and used the full ink on the highlight image. Then I die cut the flower.
The stem with leaves was stamped using Old Olive ink and was die cut and then taped to the 2" x 3" piece.
The flower was set in place using Dimensionals.
The words are from the "Art Gallery" set and were stamped using Old Olive ink. I cut them out on my paper cutter and it measured 1-3/4" x 3/8". I set it in place using Dimensionals.
A few crystal rhinestones were added and the card was done.
This was a very quick and easy card to make and it has a nice elegant look to it. I can see this as a pretty Mother's Day card, thinking of you card, get well card, or sympathy card. Very versatile. That was one of the things that drew me to this set.
Thank you SO very much for taking your time to stop by and see this elegant and versatile card,
Wanda
