The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Basic White card stock. This card opens on the right and the fold is on the left.
I cut a 4" x 2-1/4" piece of the DSP from the "Fine Art Floral" 12" x 12" package. Then I cut it at an angle. I marked the right side at 1" and I cut it from the 1" mark to the top of the left corner. I taped the DSP in place on the bottom of the card.
Then I stamped the words from the "All Squared Away" set using Mossy Meadow ink. My ink pad is a bit too juicy and my words seemed to be a bit thicker than I wanted them to be.
I stamped the leaves from the "Art Gallery" set using Mossy Meadow ink and then I die cut them with the matching die.
The flower was die cut from the same DSP. It's actually the backside of the DSP at the bottom of the card. I added Dimensionals to the back of the flower.
I taped the leaf in place and then the flower went over the tip of the stem.
Three rhinestones were added to the front of the card and the card was done.
This was a very quick and easy card to make. Though I still feel like I cheated using the DSP for my flower.
Thank you SO very much for taking your time to stop by and see this floral birthday card,
Wanda
That was one stamp set I didn't think I needed but am glad I got it. The papers in that pack are so fun to work with. I love your card and will save it for a later CASE.
ReplyDeleteAnother beautiful card Wanda.
