The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Soft Sea Foam card stock. This card opens on the right and the fold is on the left.
I cut a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Soft Sea Foam card stock and textured it using the "Painted Texture" embossing folder. I glued it to the front of the card. I also cut a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Basic White card stock and taped it to the inside.
I cut a 2" x 4-3/4" piece of the "Hand-Penned Designs" DSP and taped it to a 2-1/4" x 5" piece of Misty Moonlight card stock. I glued the strip to the front of the card about 1/4" from the top, left side and bottom of the textured card stock.
The words are from the "Peaceful Moments" set and were stamped on a piece of Basic White card stock using Misty Moonlight ink. I die cut it using the second smallest stitched oval die. I used the blending brush and colored the edges of the oval. I added Dimensionals to the back and set it aside.
I took a glue dot and put it in the center of the area where the words are going to be set. I took some Baker's Twine and made some loops, sticking it to the glue dot as I made each loop. Then I removed the backing on the oval and set it in place on the front of the card.
I took three of the new "Genial Gems" and placed them on the front of the card. These little gems are so pretty, they have glitter inside each one.
This was a fun and easy card to make. I need to do a little shopping and find some more word sets. I only have a few and I could use more.
Thank you SO very much for taking your time to stop by and see this sweet thinking of you card,
Wanda
