Hand-Penned Petals, Pansy Patch, Birthday Card, 2021-2022 Stampin' Up! Catalog

This card caught my eye on Pinterest. It was the panels that caught my eye. I found this card here.

The base of the card is a folded half-sheet of Soft Succulent card stock. I think the original card used Garden Green but I didn't pay close enough attention and ended up grabbing the Soft Succulent.

I cut a 4" x 5-1/4" piece from the Hand-Penned Designer Series Paper (DSP) package. I taped it to the front of the card.

I found the colors of the DSP that were in the photo of the original card and die cut them using the second smallest Stitched Rectangle die. I cut three different flower images from the DSP package. I cut three 2-7/8" x 1-7/16" piece of the Soft Succulent card stock for the layers. The DSP was taped to the card stock and then taped to the front of the card.

The words are from the "Pansy Patch" set and were stamped on a scrap piece of Basic White card stock and black Memento ink was used. They were then cut from the "Double Oval Punch".  I also cut the scalloped piece from the Soft Succulent card stock and the "Double Oval Punch".  I taped the ovals together. I stamped the flowers from the "Hand-Penned Petals" set using black Memento ink that was stamped off once. It gave the words a bit of texture.

I took a piece of vellum and die cut two leaf sets from the "Forever Fern" set and taped the top pieces of it to the back of the scalloped oval. I put Dimensionals on the back and set the oval in place on the front of the card.

I added a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Basic White to the inside of the card.

The little silver pears from the "Metallic Pearls" pack were set in place and the card was done.

This was a quick and easy card to make. I LOVED it that three different DSP printed images were used to make this card. Usually it's only one image from the same sheet.

I really like the looks of this card and it can be used for a variety of occasions like Mother's Day, Get Well, Thinking of You and Thank You.

I thank you SO very much for taking your time to see this fun and versatile card,
Wanda
