Sweet Strawberries, Thank You Card, 2021 Stampin' Up! Spring Catalog

I thought I'd make one more card using the "Sweet Strawberries" set before I put it away until my punch arrives.  I really like this set and it ranks up at the top with my other favorites.

The base of the card is a folded half-sheet of Real Red card stock. I had found a 12" x 12" piece in a stash of card stock and I was SO thrilled since my card stock is running low. But I'm not going to be buying anything until the new catalog comes out.  So I have to make do with what I have.  My card opens on the right and the fold is on the left.

I cut a 4-1/4" x 5-1/2" piece of Basic White card stock and textured it with the new "Painted Texture" embossing folder. Then I cut it at 4" x 5-1/4" and I taped it to the front of the card base.

I cut a 4" x 1-1/4" piece of Designer Series Paper (DSP) from the 6" x 6" Regals Collection package. I taped it about 1-1/2" from the top of the white piece.

I stamped the strawberry from the "Sweet Strawberries" set using black Memento for the outline and Real Red ink for the solid part. The stem was stamped using black Memento for the outline and Garden Green ink for the solid part. And the leaves were stamped using black Memento for the outline and Granny Apple Green ink for the solid part. My card needed 2 leaves. I glued the stem to the strawberry and I set it aside for a few minutes.

I die cut two circles using the third largest "Stitched Circles" die. If you don't have those dies, the circles measures about 1-7/8". Any size that is close to that will work.

The words are from the same "Sweet Strawberries" set and were stamped using black Memento ink. I glued the right circle in place about 3/4" down from the top and 3/4" over from the right side. You don't have to be exact with that. Just make sure there's enough room to add the other circle without covering up the words.

The second circle was set in place using Dimensionals and the strawberry was glued in place with the leaves.

I colored some crystal rhinestones using my dark Real Red Blends pen and set them in place around the card front. And that was it.

This was another quick and easy card to make. They will be much easier once my punch arrives. (A little whining here, but it doesn't do any good!!! LOL)

Thank you SO very much for taking your time to check out what I made today,
Wanda
