This butterfly has got to be the easiest image to color using the sponge brushes. I stamped it using black Memento ink. I fussy cut it out. A tip for cutting small thin images like the legs and antenna is to cut one side and then cut the other and lastly cut around the ends. Don't try to turn corners, you can bend or rip your card stock. Before I colored the butterfly, I did mask off the body part using a small post it note. Then I used a sponge brush and colored the whole thing using Flirty Flamingo ink. I brushed on some Melon Mambo ink on the middle of the butterfly and a bit up towards the tip of the wings.
I took my Soft Suede marker and colored in the body of the butterfly. I set it aside while I worked up the rest of the card.
The base of the card is a folded half-sheet of Basic White card stock. The card opens on the right and the fold is on the left. I stamped the leaves using Sahara Sand ink. That's a color I don't often use. I stamped the leaves in several places around the upper right and lower left of the card base.
The words are from the "Dandelion Wishes" set and were stamped using black Memento ink on Basic White card stock that was cut 2" x 2-1/4". I cut a piece of Flirty Flamingo card stock that measured 2-1/4" x 2-1/2". I taped the two pieces together. I added Dimensionals to the back.
Before setting the word piece and butterfly in place I took the dotted image from the set and using Melon Mambo ink I stamped them where they would be behind the butterfly and two coming out from behind the bottom right corner of the word piece.
I set the word piece in place. Then the butterfly was added using Dimensionals on the upper part and double-sided tape on the lower part.
I added a few glass raindrops that I had an I added some crystal rhinestones and the card was done.
Thank you SO much for taking your time to stop by and take a look at what I did today, Wanda

Wanda, this is a very pretty card. I need several get-well cards due to friends having surgeries soon. This will be one of them. TFS. Enjoy your day!
