The base of the card is a folded half-sheet of Bermuda Bay card stock. This card opens on the right and the fold is on the left.
I cut a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of the dotted Designer Series Paper (DSP) from the "Flower & Field" 12" x 12" package. I really like all the images in this pack. Well, not all of them. The dotted piece is pretty but I didn't care much for the images on the other side but it worked out because I won't have to feel sad when I have to decide which side to use. That worked out well! LOL
I cut a piece of Bermuda Bay card stock that measures 4" x 3-1/4". Then I cut a piece of the DSP from the same "Flower & Field" pack at 3" x 3-7/8". I cut the piece into 3 one inch strips that are 3-7/8" long each. I taped the strips to the card stock.
The words are from the "Butterfly Gala" and were stamped using black Memento ink. I used the second smallest long rectangle from the "Rectangle Stitches" Framelets dies package.
I taped the three 1" strip to the Bermuda Bay piece and I set that piece in place on the front of the card using Dimensionals. I lined up the two sides and top and left the bottom wider.
I taped the words to the front on top of the strips. I didn't tape on the far right side because I didn't want it to stick to the dotted DSP.
The bow is a retired piece of Bermuda Bay ribbon. I glued it in place. I have had problems with them getting caught in the envelope and then coming off. When they are glued they don't seem to come off as easy.
Wouldn't this make a pretty Mother's Day card or a birthday card, or a thank you card, or even a sympathy card.
I added a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Whisper White to the inside of the card and it was done. I think it's very pretty and it was a super quick and easy card to make.
Thank you SO very much for taking the time to stop by today and have a look, Wanda

The card definitely does not look like you threw it together. It's lovely! I got that paper but haven't gotten into it yet. I really like what you did with this card!
