I was wanting to play with the "Curvy Christmas" set and I ran across a quick and simple card. I may make some extra to send out this year. I was looking for something quick and easy. You can see the original card here.
My card is a little different because I didn't have all the elements that the original card has but mine turned out fine and I like how it looks.
The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Whisper White card stock. My focal piece is a 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" piece of Whisper White and the layer behind it is a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Real Red.
I set the focal piece in my Stamparatus. I have come to use that for most of my stamping because I never know how well the ink covers the image and once you stamp without the Stamparatus, you are done. But with it, you can stamp and stamp until you get it as dark or as clear as you want.
I stamped the cute curvy trees first using Shaded Spruce ink.
Then I stamped the words using Real Red ink.
The stars were added next and they were stamped using Daffodil Delight. The original card just had the two stars on the left but I had to add the extra star because there was a mark on the card stock and I had to hide it. Now you would have never known about the mark had I not told you. The mark covered nicely and it was in a good place too. It all worked out!
I taped the layers together and the card was done. See, I told you it was quick and easy. This is one of those cards that you can whip out a bunch in no time using your Stamparatus.
Thank you SO very much for taking the time to stop by today,
Wanda
