I was looking for a fun, quick, and easy card to make using the "Feels Like Frost" Designer Series Paper (DSP) and I ran across this one. You can see the original here. I liked the look of this card. It gives it a nice wintery look yet it's warm and inviting.
The base of the card is a folded half-sheet of Balmy Blue. I probably should have used Seaside spray, the blues might have blended together more. But it's still pretty.
On top of the card base is a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Whisper White card stock.
I cut the DSP to 3-3/4" x 5" and taped a 6" piece of ribbon around it. I used scotch tape on the backside of the DSP. I taped the DSP to the Whisper White piece and then slipped a piece of ribbon under the taped ribbon strip and tied a knot. I trimmed the edges.
The words are from the "Itty Bitty Christmas" set and were stamped using Night of Navy ink. I die cut them using the "Ornate Frames" dies. I was going to use a stitched circle die but I thought this looked better. I set this piece in place using Dimensionals.
I added a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Whisper White to the inside and the card was done. It was quick, easy, and fun. Plus it's pretty!!! Oh and it's not an October 2020 Paper Pumpkin kit card!!! LOL FYI, my November kid did come so I am anxious to see what I'm going to find using it.
Thank you SO much for taking the time to stop by today,
Wanda
