I found another lovely card to make with the October 2020 Paper Pumpkin kit. I though this one was so pretty, plus it used the "Z Fold Technique". I found the original card here. I pretty much copied it as it was.
The base of the card is a folded half-sheet of Early Expresso card stock. The card is folded in half on the long side. I also scored the front of the card (on the inside) at 2-3/4". I folded the edge side of the card towards the front of the card. If you look from the top edge you will see an odd looking "Z". That is your "Z" fold.
A 2-3/4" x 4" piece of Crumb Cake card stock was cut for the focal piece. My focal piece is actually the backside of one of the cards from the kit. The front of the cards has the Crumb Cake color plus gold dashes. The back is just Crumb Cake. I stamped this piece using Crumb Cake ink and the pretty flower image that came in the set. I just stamped randomly all over the piece.

I used my "Stitched Oval" dies and cut the largest one from a scrap piece of Soft Sea Foam card stock. I set the die cut flower from the kit on top of the oval to see where "joy" was going to be stamped. "Joy" is in the stamp set from the kit and it was stamped using black Memento ink.
I took two strands of the Cherry Cobbler thread/twine that came in the kit and I tied them into one bow. I also took some twine and wrapped it around the Crumb Cake card stock piece. I taped the ends on the back and then I taped the piece to the front of the card. Make sure when you tape this that you only tape where the Early Espresso is going to be touching that part of the Crumb Cake card stock or you will end up taping your card shut. That would not be a good thing. Oh and in case you were wondering, yes, I have done that before!
Next I set the oval in place using Dimensionals. The flower was also added using Dimensionals.
The bow was glued on. I don't usually have good luck using glue dots or tape with the fabric stuff, so I just use glue, that way I know it's going to stay in place.
I added some rhinestones to the front. I had colored them with my dark Poppy Parade Blends pen. I set them in the centers of some of the flowers that you could actually see the centers.
And for the final touch, I added a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Whisper White to the inside of the card.
I did not add the Wink of Stella on the die cut flower like I have done with other cards. I thought the bling from the rhinestones was enough shine.
This was a very fun card to make and I think it's SO darn pretty!
Thank you SO much for taking the time to stop by today and have a look,
Wanda
