The base of the card is a folded half-sheet of Balm Blue card stock. This card opens on the right and the fold is on the left.
I cut a 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" piece of watercolor paper and I misted it. Then I took my 2-1/2" square stamping block and inked it up with Balmy Blue ink. I stamped off because it was just a bit too dark. Then I misted the block and pressed it on the watercolor paper. It blead a bit at the top and I used a wet paint brush to rub out the color. A little bit of it stained but it doesn't show much. I was okay with the way it looked after I tried to fix it.
I stamped the tree from the "Winter Woods" set using Mossy Meadow ink on Whisper White card stock. I had set it up in my Stamparatus. I didn't like how light the green looked so I used Pretty Peacock ink and stamped over the tree. It was darker but not like on the original card. But I just let it be how it wanted to be! I fussy cut the tree out and taped it to the watercolor paper.
The words are from the "Itty Bitty Christmas" set using black Memento ink.
I taped the watercolor paper to the card base and added a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Whisper White to the inside and the card was done.
It is okay but I don't think I would make anymore. Even though it was quick and easy to do.
Thank you SO much for taking the time to pop in today,
Wanda

Hi Wanda!,
Love the card!
I tape my Watercolor paper to a clipboard to keep it from curling. Then when it is dry, I cut it to size.
Remember "Tryit, you'll like it"?
Hipster friend, colleen
