Thanksgiving Card, September 2020 Paper Pumpkin Alternative Card

I'm still trying to find cards to use up, or should I say "use more" of the pieces in the September 2020 Paper Pumpkin kit.  There's SO many fun pieces in there.  And I'm sure when I'm done making the cards I want to make there will still be lots of pieces left. I found today's card online. You can see it here and there is also a step by step video too, you can see that here.  This is an easy card to make and here's how I made mine.

The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Whisper White card stock. On top of that is a 5" x 3-3/4" piece of Pumpkin Pie card stock.

The smaller Whisper White focal piece was cut 2-3/4" x 4-1/4".  You will need to take one of the party favors and cut the scalloped side off. I cut mine at their score line. It doesn't matter where you cut it, most of it will be hidden behind the card stock. Add some tape or glue to the back of the card stock and affix the scalloped piece.  Trim the end that is overlapping. I just used my scissors for that.

The yellow lacy piece from the kit was taped in place. The tape was added from the middle area of the lace to it's end. The tape will show through but it doesn't matter because it's going to be covered.

Then the double pumpkins were taped in place.

The words were stamped on one of the label pieces that came with the kit. Black Memento was used on the words. Another scalloped piece was set in place on the bottom of the words. It's five scallops long. Then the word piece was set in place using Dimensionals.

One of the brownish flowers were set in place using some tape. I added a small pearl embellishment to the center of the flower. It looked like it needed something.

There is a cute flower stamp in the set and I stamped it on the card front three times using Mango Melody ink. I didn't have the Bumblebee ink that matched the lacy piece but the Mango Melody is very close.

A bow using Whisper White Baker's twine was made and added to the large pumpkin using a glue dot. You need to make sure you roll the glue dot a little so it doesn't hang over the twine.

Then the whole panel was set in place on top of the Pumpkin Pie piece with Dimensionals. And the card was done.

Another quick and easy card using pieces from the Paper Pumpkin kit.  It's sweet and simple looking.

Thank you SO much for taking the time to stop by today,
Wanda
